EPICA Announce North American tour with Eluveitie and The Agonist

After much anticipation in the last few weeks from fans, symphonic metal band EPICA and folk metal band ELUVEITIE are joining forces for the “Revolver Presents” tour and are making their way back to North America this fall. Epica had been teasing about new dates on their Facebook page for a few weeks, and it looks like the wait has paid off.

EPICA were originally lined up to tour North America as support for MACHINE HEAD and CHILDREN OF BODOM last February, but the tour was cancelled after Machine Head decided the completion of their new album should take priority over any touring, causing a lot of upset fans across the country.

Luckily, Epica have decided to tour North America without them, and will be bringing along Eluveitie. If that wasn’t already a great enough lineup for you, the icing on the cake is Montreal’s very own THE AGONIST joining them for the tour as the opening act. So this is clearly a tour you’re not going to want to miss if you’re a fan of the more symphonic and eclectic side of metal.

Simone Simons, front-woman for Epica, had this to say of the upcoming tour:

“We are ecstatic to be part of ‘Revolver Presents’ and nurture our long-distance relationship with our fans over in North America! We’ll have a wonderful time together and EPICA will perform songs spanning our entire discography. You guys better be ready for us!”
