HEAVY MONTREAL 2014 Interviews

Heavy Montreal 2014, held on August 9th and 10th was an impeccable experience bringing us huge names like Metallica and Twisted Sister.

Bucketlist had the pleasure of meeting with some of the bands to get their feel on the festival, what is happening in their careers, and who they were stoked to see live.

On day 1, we met up with En Route Vers Heavy winners, Eagle Tears. They sat with us to discuss future goals, inspirations and the new album. Their record launch party will be held on August 30th. Click here for more details.

As the sun was setting and we were waiting anxiously for Metallica to hit the stage, we bumped into members of Heavy Mania; Jack Donovan, co-founder and his accomplice the Guardian of the Gauntlet. The Guardian was angry and waiting for Slayer to get on stage so he can protect the Gauntlet. He even had an issue with our guy Eric! Watch here:

Day two was a little more mellow. There weren’t as many people on the grounds and the sun was even stronger than the day before. Nashville Pussy was laying comfortably on some cushions as we approached them. They talk about the controversy regarding their band name, the new album, and Bonnie being the newest member. Watch this hilarious interview here:

As the night progressed and the place filled up with Slayer fans, we met up with pirate metal band Alestorm. While drinking their wine, we discussed the new album being number one on the charts, and the fact they were happy to see Dropkick Murphys.
