New Myer Clarity Album Available For Stream

Back again for the holidays, Myer Clarity, fresh off his 12 city Ontario tour, brings some new ear candy for anyone with a musical sweet tooth this season.

This 9 song ensemble is comprised of new original material as well as unreleased collaborations with other artists. The project features appearances from Montreal’s own SRH, Emily Skahan of Motel Raphael and Ariel et Les Va-Nu-Pieds. Making a special guest appearance is MC Devlin of Mad Conductor, lending his vocals to a 1960s era sample re-imagined in a dubstep meets hip-hop context.

The lead single, “See Me Go In” describes what it’s like to grow up in the Montreal Punk scene, and how substance abuse can trickle its way in at an early age (and how that’s not necessarily a bad thing). With a simple yet hypnotizing chorus sung nonchalantly over an excited 808 kick drum, the ambient yet current demeanour of the tune guides one through the life of a young Montrealer. All in all, the project is a perfect way to drown out the still heavily rotating mall and radio christmas music, and best of all, it’s available for free download here:
