RINGS OF SATURN Announces The Space Slam North American Tour 2016 With The Browning and Lorna Shore; Coffin Dragger Tour Underway

While currently embarked on the massive Coffin Dragger Tour, with Fit For An Autopsy, Dark Sermon, and Thy Art Is Murder, Rings of Saturn announce a new headlining tour for May.

The newly confirmed Rings of Saturn trek, dubbed The Space Slam North American Tour 2016, will see the California-based quartet supported by Lorna Shore and The Browning on all dates. Beginning Sunday, May 21st at Rock N’ Derby in Schaghticoke, New York, the caravan will carve a serpentine path through the Eastern US, winding down through the Southeast, the final show hitting Biloxi, Mississippi on Friday, June 3rd.

The news on the new tour comes as Rings of Saturn continues to batter the continent on the Coffin Dragger Tour, with Fit For An Autopsy, Dark Sermon, and headliners Thy Art Is Murder. Now two weeks into the tour, the mammoth trek continues for another entire month, with shows running through Thursday, May 19th, just two days before the kickoff of The Space Slam.

Following its release through Unique Leader Records in October 2014, Rings of Saturn’s remorseless, jaw-dropping, Lugal Ki En, took the #116 spot on the Billboard top 200 chart, #3 on the Heatseekers/New Artist chart and #26 on the Independent album chart. The album also slaughtered the Hard Music chart taking the #12 position, as well as #41 on the Rock chart. A cataclysmic display of over-the-top technical death metal, Lugal Ki En surges with nearly forty-five minutes relentless, cyber-infused deathcore destruction, based on a lyrical concept in which the Aliens wage war on the angels and demons of the universe after having conquered humanity. The album was produced by Brette Ciamarra at Studio 344 (Kamikabe, Those Who Fear, Trophies), and features conceptual art pieces by Mark Cooper of Mind Rape Art.
