Rough Gentleman Celebrate the Release of Self Titled EP

Last night, Montreal’s Petit Campus played host to a real who’s full of local rock acts. Celebrating the February release of their latest self titled EP, Rough Gentlemen invited Undermess and Gone Dogs to join the fun. The crowd was jovial as each of the bands ran through energetic 45 minute sets. It’s also worth mentioning that this was Gone Dogs’ last show before entering the studio to record their own record, so be on the lookout for that. For their set, they invited Ariane Coutu of Wild Call to join them. Her badass rock n’ roll voice made quite an impression.

As for Rough Gentlemen, the boys sported leather jackets branded with their name along with a crossed daggers. Their take on heavy rock with a dash of Louisiana soul is always guaranteed to hit home. You can stream their EP over at their bandcamp page and you can check out the video for the lead single “Lost” right here.

About Syd Ghan 184 Articles
Syd Ghan spent his childhood in a choir and taking private violin lessons. He’s totally a manly man except for that he can’t play sports and you probably shouldn’t ask him to help you move. He loves metal, rock, funk, jazz, pop, classical, country, rap, hip hop, and blues, but he doesn’t like Bono or his stupid face. He plays in a Montreal funk rock band called Safe in Sound who are just the bee’s knees. He enjoys long walks on the beach and being a smartass. He’s usually probably wrong.
